Final Push—Don't Miss the EB-5 Grandfathering

Final Push—Don't Miss the EB-5 Grandfathering

The September 30, 2026 grandfathering deadline is rapidly approaching. Join us for a practical discussion of the hottest EB-5 issues facing attorneys, including:

  • Filing strategies before the deadline
  • Source of funds challenges and RFEs
  • Concurrent filing considerations
  • Project and I-956F timing issues
  • Reserved visa availability and visa bulletin developments
  • What happens if a filing cannot be completed before September 30
  • Current USCIS trends and unresolved legal questions

This will be a candid, attorney-focused discussion with ample time for questions and strategy. If you represent EB-5 investors or regional centers, this is one conversation you won't want to miss before the grandfathering window closes.

Presented by AILA's EB-5 Investor Committee

This roundtable is presented by AILA's EB-5 Investor Committee. The AILA EB-5 Investor Committee monitors regulatory, legislative, policy and adjudication trends related to the EB-5 immigrant investor program and drafts comments on behalf of AILA relating to the EB-5 program. Where patterns of problematic adjudications arise, the committee raises them to USCIS or the CIS Ombudsman. The committee also monitors and advocates for much needed reforms to the EB-5 program.
