AILA members will discuss the new online I-589 application filing option with USCIS. Members will also discuss ongoing issues with category (c)(8) employment authorization documents. The discussion will include:

  • Updates regarding the online filing of I-589 Applications with USCIS and opportunity for feedback on advantages and disadvantages
  • Issues related to (c)(8) EADs including receipt delays, delays of initial work authorization, delays of renewed work authorization and other issues encountered in the EAD application process

This roundtable is hosted by AILA's Asylum and Refugee Committee.
