Practitioners Perspective on Handling Trauma in Immigration Law

Trauma, whether vicarious or direct, can be a real part of the practice of immigration law. This roundtable invites members to share practical strategies for maintaining personal well-being and professional boundaries, from self-care routines to seeking peer support. By exchanging tools and insights, participants can foster resilience and better care for themselves while advocating for others. The discussion aims to create a supportive space where you can learn and grow with your colleagues.

This roundtable is presented by AILA's Well-Being Committee. For more well-being resources, visit AILA's Well-Being Center.
