E-Verify+: Usefulness and Pitfalls

E-Verify+: Usefulness and Pitfalls

Join AILA's Verification & Documentation committee in this discussion of E-Verify+’s usefulness and pitfalls. The roundtable topics will include:

  • Implementation/Use case: how does an employer sign up, what is the process, what does the product look like?
  • Compliance: How compliant is the product?
  • User Experience: What do we know about how people interact with it?
  • Audits: How to respond to ICE audits; E-V desk audits.
  • Required changes to process flows – i.e. E-Verify+ requires you to print the document and audit trails.
  • Who is it good for?

This roundtable would is hosted by AILA's Verification and Documentation Committee, which engages in matters related to employment verification and I-9 documentation requirements, E-Verify procedures, ICE enforcement efforts, OCAHO issues, and more.
