Navigating Barriers at Asylum Offices

Navigating Barriers at Asylum Offices

This roundtable will address ongoing practice challenges affecting asylum adjudications at the local level. We will discuss barriers to communication, scheduling issues, backlogs, and other challenges advocates face at field offices. We aim to surface trends and promote information sharing to navigate these issues.

Asylum experts on the Asylum and Refugee Committee will moderate the discussion.

AILA Video Roundtables are free interactive learning opportunities hosted by faculty selected for their expertise, with an emphasis on discussion and Q&A. This roundtable is available only to AILA members and is not CLE eligible. The free recording will be available 7-10 business days following the live event.
