DHS Issues Waiver for Border Wall in Texas

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem signed a waiver to expedite construction of five miles of new border wall in Starr and Hidalgo Counties in Texas, in the U.S. Border Patrol’s Rio Grande Valley Sector. This is the seventh such waive the Secretary has signed. About 100 miles of new border wall is currently under construction or planned.
