DHS to Terminate Temporary Protected Status for Haiti

DHS Secretary Kristi Noem announced the termination of Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Haiti. The TPS designation for the country expires on 8/3/25, and the termination will be effective 9/2/25.

In the announcement, DHS encouraged those effected by the termination to arrange to return to Haiti via the CBP Home App and to pursue lawful status through other immigration benefit requests, if eligible.
