DOS Final Rule Expanding Definition of Immediate Relative to Include 9/11 Widows, Children

The State Department has finalized without change an interim rule implementing § 423 of the USA PATRIOT Act to expand the definition of immediate relatives to include the widows and children whose spouses/parents were the victims of the terrorist acts of 9/11/01. (68 FR 13728, 3/20/03)
