DOS Amends SEVIS Regulations

The DOS is adding the requirement that consular officers verify SEVIS-generated I-20s and DS-2019s in the Consolidated Consular Database, and verify the payment of applicable SEVIS fees. The new rule also makes Border Commuter Students subject to SEVIS requirements. (68 FR 28129, 5/23/03)
