DOS Rule Codifies Post-9/11 Policy Change on Waiver of Nonimmigrant Visa Applicant Interviews

DOS interim rule codifies the Department’s post-9/11 change of policy on visa interviews, which has increasingly restricted the number of instances in which the interview of a nonimmigrant visa applicant may be waived. (68 FR 40127, 7/7/03)
