DOS Redesignates Jaish e-Mohammed and Lashkar e-Tayyiba As Terrorist Organizations

The DOS redesignated Jaish e-Mohammed and Lashkar e-Tayyiba as terrorist organizations, effective 12/23/03. The initial designations of these groups in 2001 are set to expire on 12/26/03. Including these redesignations, there are 36 designated Foreign Terrorist Organizations. (68 FR 74282, 12/23/03)
