DOS Publishes Final Rule Amending SEVIS Regulations

DOS final rule, effective 5/23/03, adding the requirement that consular officers verify SEVIS-generated I-20s and DS-2019s in the Consolidated Consular Database, and verify the payment of SEVIS fees. The rule also makes Border Commuter Students subject to SEVIS requirements. (70 FR 7853, 2/16/05)
