DOS Eliminates Board of Appellate Review

DOS interim final rule eliminates the Board of Appellate Review (L/BAR). The Bureau of Consular Affairs authorizes on a discretionary basis an alternative, less cumbersome review of loss of nationality determinations. Rule is effective as of 7/18/08. Comments due on 9/16/08. (73 FR 41256, 7/18/08)
