HHS Updates Poverty Guidelines for 2004

HHS updated the poverty guidelines for 2004, accounting for last year's increase in prices as measured by the Consumer Price Index. This data is used in determining ability to provide support in connection with the affidavit of support. (69 FR 7335, 2/13/04)
