USCIS Update: E-Verify Federal Contractor Rule Now Effective

On 9/8/09 USCIS issued an update reminding federal contractors and subcontractors that they now may be required to use the E-Verify system to verify their employee’s eligibility to work in the U.S. if their contract includes the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) E-Verify clause.
