DHS Adjusts Certain Civil Penalties Assessed by CBP and ICE for Inflation

DHS interim final rule effective August 1, 2016, increasing the amount of certain civil penalties for inflation. Among the penalties affected are penalties assessed by CPB for violations of the INA and penalties assessed by ICE against employers for violations of the INA. (81 FR 42987, 7/1/16)
