Policy Brief: How Congress Should Stop ICE and Border Patrol Shootings and Violence

Since the start of the Administration, ICE and Border Patrol have been responsible for countless unlawful and violent abuses against immigrants and American citizens, leading to serious injury and death. This policy brief highlights recent abuses while incorporating AILA’s solutions for reforming our immigration system and calls on Congress to demand accountability and reforms that ensure the nation’s immigration agencies operate in a fair, lawful, and humane manner and bring order and safety to American communities.
