How can I contact AILA about my order?
AILA dues are not deductible as a charitable contribution for federal income tax purposes, although a portion of your dues may be deductible as a business expense. The portion of your dues that is used for lobbying activities is not deductible. Based on our estimates for 2023, the non-deductible portion of your national dues is 1.5%. Estimates of non-deductible Chapter dues can be found at: https://www.aila.org/chapterdues. Contributions to the American Immigration Council, a 501(c)(3), may be deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes.
Membership/International Associate Cancellation Policy
AILA Membership and International Associate Status can be cancelled at any time. However, a prorated refund will only be issued to those members or international associates who are no longer eligible according to AILA's Bylaws.
Print Books
Print books are eligible for a full refund within 30 days of purchase, provided they are in resalable condition and have all their original packaging. Shipping and handling fees are not refundable. Bookstores may return unsold books up to 90 days after purchase.

Digital/Downloadable Goods
All digital/downloadable content purchases are final. They are not eligible for return/refund.
Pre-orders cancelled prior to the release of the physical publication or digital good can be fully refunded by emailing a request to agora@aila.org; or an email request to switch the format can be made prior to the release of the item, only if the item is being offered in multiple formats.
Live Seminars
No refunds will be given after a session has begun.
In Person & Live Webcast Registrations
Annual conference: All cancellation requests must be made in writing prior to the Advance Registration Deadline. For registrations cancelled between the Early-Bird Registration Deadline and Advance Registration Deadline there is a $100 cancellation fee.
All other conferences: All cancellation requests must be made in writing prior to the Early-Bird Deadline. There is a $50 cancellation fee for all cancellations.
While all Agora visitors can see all products, some purchases are restricted to members or other kinds of users. If you do not see an ‘Add to Cart’ button, you are not eligible to purchase this product.
The maximum purchase quantity for this product is purposefully limited. Orders of 5 to 9 books are eligible for a 10% discount, orders of 10 to 49 books are eligible for a 15% discount and orders of 50 or more books are eligible for a 25% discount. To qualify for a bulk-order discount, books must be of the same title and delivered to the same address. Please contact agora@aila.org to place your bulk order.
Agora automatically shows you the price that you will pay. The store checks your membership status and member record to present you with the correct amount you will be charged for products.
Yes, you’ll receive the pricing appropriate to the membership level to which you applied while your application is being reviewed.
This depends on the type of product you purchased. All items whose release date occurs at least 2 weeks in the past are available immediately.
Go to your Order History and select the order you would like to track. On the receipt you will see the tracking information in the upper right.
To access and download your digital goods/downloadable content, log into your account. From there, you will see a green ‘Digital Library’ button at the top of web page; this will take you to your digital purchases. Click the blue ‘Download’ button next to the desired item to download to your computer.
You can find your order history by clicking on the account icon in the Agora header. Within your order history, click Order Details to see the receipt for a specific order.

You can conveniently renew your AILA membership online. If you are within 45 days before your membership expiration date, or up to 90 days you will see a red "Renew Your Membership" on the navigation bar. If you have questions about your renewal, please e-mail the Membership Department at membership@aila.org
Non-members can create an account on Agora to purchase items. Go to our Create an Account page and follow the steps to create your AILA account.
Updates and corrections to published books can be found on the book updates page.
AILA cannot verify your attendance and participation in this program unless you register directly for the seminar and use your own name to login to participate in the program. Therefore, persons who login or listen in on the seminar as part of a group will not be able to obtain CLE credit.
