Publishing Opportunities

AILA’s publishing program is a longstanding cornerstone of the American immigration law community, providing expertly crafted and continuously updated resources. Our publications support practitioners at every stage of their careers and across the full range of immigration law practice areas.

Whether you have an idea for a new book or article, are interested in volunteering on an existing publication, or would like to serve as an editor, we welcome your contributions.

Book Author

Book authors, either independently or with an editorial team they manage, structure and write a complete and comprehensive title on a topic they are highly experienced in. Authors stay abreast of changes in the law that may impact the accuracy of their book’s content and coordinate with AILA’s publication staff to periodically update their work.

If you are interested in proposing that AILA publish your book idea, please review our existing catalog and submit a new publication intake form.

Article Author

Article authors write shorter, and sometimes highly time-sensitive pieces for consumption by AILA’s membership. These articles become part of AILA.org’s database of Practice Pointers, blog posts, conference materials, and other practice resources. If you have written an article that might benefit AILA members, you can submit it using the form below.
