The E. Michael Berger Scholarship honors the memory of a long-time AILA member who passed away in 1989. This scholarship is sponsored by AILA and is available to attorneys, especially those who work for certain nonprofit organizations and/or do a significant amount of pro bono work.
In your application, please outline the reasons you would like to attend the 2022 Annual Conference and why you should receive the scholarship. Preference will be given to AILA Annual Conference speakers, AILA members, and applicants who have not received a prior award. Scholarship recipients not speaking at the 2023 Annual Conference will be required to serve as a day coordinator. Full and partial scholarships will be awarded for conference registration only. The deadline to apply is Thursday, April 6, 2023. Only complete applications will be reviewed.
