USCIS Proposes Rule to Require Replacement of I-551 Cards Without Expiration Date

USCIS proposed rule terminating the validity of Permanent Resident Cards (Form I-551) without an expiration date and to establish an 120 day period to apply for a replacement. Application for a replacement will include biometrics and background checks. (72 FR 46922, 8/22/07)
