DOS Eliminates Extended Visa Validity Benefits Under Expired IMMACT Provision

DOS final rule eliminating the extended visa validity benefit for certain aliens who qualified under §154 of IMMACT 90, which permitted certain aliens resident in Hong Kong to extend the validity of their immigrant visa up to 1/1/02, since the benefit no longer exists. (68 FR 13627, 3/20/03)
