DOS Final Rule Updating VAWA Immigrant Visa Classifications

DOS final rule adding an immigrant visa classification for parents of U.S. citizens, and parents of former U.S. citizens who, within the past two years, have lost or renounced U.S. citizenship status related to an incident of domestic violence or died. Rule is effective 6/5/14. (79 FR 32481, 6/5/14)
