DOS Final Rule on Visa Registration

DOS final rule clarifying that the "registration" of an immigrant visa (IV) applicant is defined to mean the filing of form DS-230, when duly executed, or the transmission by the DOS to the alien of a notification of the availability of an IV, whichever occurs first. (67 FR 77160, 12/17/02)
