Representatives Urge DOJ to Restore Due Process to Removal Proceedings and Improve Docket Management Protocols

On March 29, 2022, Representative Pramila Jayapal (D-WA) led 40 lawmakers in calling on the DOJ to reduce the immigration court case backlog and address due process concerns, including by imposing restrictions on virtual hearings. This letter is a follow-up to the June 2021 letter also led by the Congresswoman.
