Text of the Habeas Corpus Restoration Act as Introduced in the House

Text of the Habeas Corpus Restoration Act of 2007 (H.R. 1416), as introduced by Rep. Nadler (D-NY) on 3/8/07 which would restore habeas corpus to detainees and repeal the prohibition on treaty obligations establishing grounds for claims. Senator Specter (R-PA) introduced a similar bill (S. 185).
