Download the DocumentUSCIS began accepting applications to adjust status to lawful permanent resident from certain Liberian nationals under Section 7611 of the National Defense Authorization Act for FY2020, Liberian Refugee Immigration Fairness (LRIF). USCIS will accept properly filed applications until 12/20/20.
On 1/29/20, USCIS updated its website with information regarding employment authorization for Liberians under DED, whose EADs will expire on 3/30/20. USCIS “encourages individuals who wish to prevent a gap in employment documentation to submit their completed adjustment of status and employment authorization applications [under LRIF] as early as possible.”
