USCIS Removes 60-Day Rule for Form I-693

USCIS issued guidance on the permanent removal of the requirement that the civil surgeon’s signature on Form I-693 be dated no more than 60 days before an applicant files the application for the underlying immigration benefit. Guidance effective as of 3/31/23, comments are due by 5/1/23.
