AILA and the Council Submit Comment on Proposed Changes to Information Collection Process at the Border
AILA and the American Immigration Council expressed support for CBP’s desire to reduce processing times for undocumented individuals who present themselves at land borders. However, we oppose the proposed comment’s policy of externalizing critical government functions like border processing of asylum seekers or using unreliable technologies like facial recognition.
