Final Rule Setting Expiration Dates for HHS Regulations
Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) final rule setting expiration dates for HHS regulations (subject to certain exceptions), unless HHS periodically assesses the regulations to determine if they are subject to the Regulatory Flexibility Act (RFA), and if they are, performs a review that satisfies the criteria in the RFA. Among other exceptions, the rule does not apply to regulations that were issued jointly with other federal agencies. The rule is effective 3/22/21. (86 FR 5694, 1/19/21)
