NYC Mayor Bloomberg announced “Immigrants: The Lifeblood of New York City” plan, including the creation of an Immigrant Advisory Board and an initiative in which NYC will partner with private law firms to move deferred first-year legal associates to nonprofit organizations for fellowships.
