USCIS 30-Day Extension of Comment Period on New Form G-1552, Sponsor Deeming and Agency Reimbursement

USCIS 30-day extension of a comment period previously announced at 84 FR 69386 on a proposed new information collection, Form G-1552, Sponsor Deeming and Agency Reimbursement. Form G-1552 would allow federal, state, and local government agencies to “collect information via [the] Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements (SAVE) program regarding actions that agencies adjudicating federal means-tested public benefits take to (1) deem sponsor income as part of applicant income for purposes of federal means-tested benefits eligibility and (2) seek reimbursement from sponsors for the value of federal means-tested public benefits provided to sponsored applicants.” Comments are now due 6/5/20.
