SAN FRANCISCO, CA - This Saturday, June 16, the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), in partnership with AILA's Northern California Chapter and La Raza Centro Legal, will offer free immigration law consultations. Immigration attorneys will be available to answer questions and assist immigrants with a variety of immigration-related questions.
The event, the eighth Pro Bono Clinic held in conjunction with AILA's Annual Conference, will take place at the La Raza Centro Legal offices.
"San Francisco is a city that welcomes immigrants, where their contributions to the community and economy are valued. Countless immigrants have built their lives here and we are proud to help those seeking assistance with immigration concerns face the vast, complicated, and often daunting set of laws and policies of the United States. We are so grateful for the partnership with La Raza Centro Legal and the AILA Northern California Chapter, without which this event would not be possible," said AILA Executive Director Benjamin Johnson.
Lydia Lopez, Executive Director of La Raza Centro Legal said, "We are proud to be partnering with AILA to offer an immigration clinic to San Francisco Bay Area residents. We will continue upholding our mission of giving vulnerable populations access to information and legal advice."
All interested individuals are encouraged to attend this event. Members of the press are asked to contact Jennifer Burk (415-715-9655 or media@ailanorcal.com) if they wish to attend as press guidelines must be followed in order to protect client confidentiality needs.
