AILA joined ASAP and 84 organizations in a joint comment opposing the IFR on USCIS Immigration Fees and Related Procedures Required by H.R.1 Reconciliation Bill. The IFR creates severe and unlawful consequences for failure to pay the annual asylum fee (“AAF”) and threatens Temporary Protected Status (“TPS”) holders’ ability to work.
