DOS Issues Updated Guidance on Halt to Diversity Visa Issuance

DOS announced that, effective immediately, it has stopped issuing visas to diversity immigrant visa (DV) applicants. Applicants may still submit applications and attend interviews. DOS will continue to schedule appointments and generally will not reschedule or cancel existing appointments. This guidance does not impact existing visas.
