Download the DocumentOn August 13, 2020, AILA joined the National Immigrant Justice Center (NIJC) and over 100 national, state and local organizations in a comment opposing changes to the USICS Policy Manual related to the application of discretion in USCIS adjudications. The comment argues that the changes are material and substantive modifications of long-standing adjudication practices, beyond the statutory and regulatory authority of USCIS.
