USCIS Issues Stakeholder Message on COVID-19 Impacts on Intercountry Adoptions

USCIS responded to inquiries from parents about the use of parole for adoptive children to enter the U.S. USCIS notes it may use its discretion to authorize parole on a case-by-case basis, but cautions that parole does not afford the same immigration status protections as adoption-based immigration.
