Things to Do Before the Conference
Materials for Conference Sessions
PowerPoint presentations, handouts, and other materials for the conference sessions will be available for download in your Digital Library. If you would like to have copies of materials on hand during the sessions, please download them in advance. Follow these instructions to download them:
- Log in to your account on AILA Shop.
- Click on the blue “Digital Library” button at the top right.
- Scroll to the AC image and click “Download.” Items are listed by date of purchase.
Accessing Your Session Materials on Site
Because the file sizes for the session materials are large, they are compressed using the .ZIP format. If you are using a mobile device, you will need to go to your device’s app store and download and install an app, such as iZip or WinZip, to decompress the session materials file. Please note that this process may take several minutes, so we recommend that you decompress the files before you come to the conference. Most laptop operating systems will automatically decompress a .ZIP file when you open it. If you are unsure of how to do this, try doing a web search for "unzip files” or “decompress .ZIP files” and your device type or operating system.
Annual Conference Handbooks (PDFs)
Both conference handbooks—Immigration Practice Pointers and Navigating the Fundamentals of Immigration Law (AILA 2026–27 eds.)—will be available in your Digital Library.
*Please download the AC26 App and conference materials before you come to the conference. Due to the high number of attendees and devices, the Wi-Fi provided by the Marriott Marquis San Diego and Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego may not be able to accommodate these downloads. Please note If you have issues downloading the app or other technical issues, please come to the registration booth (Marriott Pacific Ballroom, Level 1, Pre-function area) and someone will be able to assist you.
