AILA and Partners Submit Amicus Brief Urging Eighth Circuit to Reject BIA’s Interpretation of “Conviction” for Vacated Judgments

This brief, submitted by AILA, the National Immigration Project, and law school clinics, urged the Eighth Circuit to find that vacated judgments are not convictions under the INA, arguing that they lack legal effect and cannot support removal.
