AILA’s Hometown Radio Tour 2013
5/17/13
AILA Doc. No. 13051750.
During AILA's National Day of Action on April 11, 2013 in Washington, DC, AILA members from across the country were interviewed for a total of 39 short radio pieces that were then pitched to radio stations throughout the country, reaching an audience of nearly 53 million listeners through local, regional, and national outlets. Bipartisan immigration reform prospects were of course the main topic of the day, but other interviews focused on particular issues like Deferred Action and LGBT bi-national couples.
