CIS Ombudsman’s Office Issues Fraud Alert on Scam to Obtain Personally Identifiable Information from Victims

The CIS Ombudsman’s Office issued a fraud alert noting that certain DHS telephone numbers, including the Ombudsman’s main office numbers have been compromised by scammers as part of a telephone spoofing scam that targets individuals throughout the country to elicit sensitive information.
