DHS Announces Aviation Security & Travel Screening Changes

A 4/28/08 DHS press release announced that airlines will be able to systematically verify and store a passenger’s date of birth to clear up watch list misidentifications, enabling more passengers to check in remotely. DHS Secretary Chertoff’s remarks follow the press release.
