DHS Announces Termination of Border Contracts in Laredo and Rio Grande Valley

Per the DHS border barrier plan, CBP and USACE will end remaining border barrier contracts in USBP’s Laredo Sector and the Rio Grande Valley Sector. Environmental planning activity in those sectors will continue and will not involve construction of new border barriers or permanent land acquisition.
