DOJ Notice of Revision and Extension of Form EOIR-26
Department of Justice (DOJ) notice of revision and extension of Form EOIR-26, Notice of Appeal From a Decision of an Immigration Judge. The form is used to appeal an immigration judge’s decision to the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA).
In addition to formatting and textual changes, the proposed revisions include updated references to online materials; clarified filing instructions; removal of references and collection of information pertaining to the BIA Pro Bono Project, which is not currently active; an added option for an appellant to specify that he or she is filing an interlocutory appeal; and a field to collect the email address for the appellant's attorney or authorized representative.
