DOJ Announces Benefit Restrictions Excluding Non-Qualified Immigrants

Attorney General Pamela Bondi announced a new order, to be published in the Federal Register, declining to exempt any Department of Justice programs from the Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Act of 1996 (PRWORA), which limits public benefits to citizens and “qualified aliens.”
