DOJ Final Rule on Designation of Temporary Immigration Judges

An upcoming EOIR final rule will amend the regulatory requirements for candidates for Temporary Immigration Judge appointment, broadening the candidate pool significantly. The rule is scheduled to be published in the Federal Register on 8/28/25 and will be effective immediately. An advance copy is available.
