DOJ Sends 1373 Compliance Letter to City Of Oakland, Document Request and Subpoena Threat to Other Jurisdictions

DOJ sent letters to the city of Seattle, WA and the Vermont, demanding the production of documents that could show whether each jurisdiction is unlawfully restricting information sharing with federal immigration authorities. DOJ also sent compliance letters to other jurisdictions.
