DOL Notice on Allowable Monetary Charges for H-2A Workers Meal and Travel Reimbursements

DOL notice for 2024 on the allowable charges that employers may charge H-2A agricultural workers when the employer provides three meals a day, as well as the maximum travel subsistence meal reimbursement that an H-2A or H-2B worker may claim. Notice includes a reminder regarding employers’ obligations with respect to overnight lodging costs as part of required subsistence. These allowable charges become effective 2/13/24.
