DOL and USCIS Enter into Agreement to Share Information About Suspected H-1B Employer Violations
DOL announced that it has entered into a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with DHS, acting through USCIS. Under the MOA, the departments will provide access and share information about immigrant and nonimmigrant petition records and data contained within OFLC’s labor certification and labor condition application databases. The MOA also establishes processed by which USCIS will refer suspected H-1B employer violations to DOL. The collaboration and information will be used by DOL in support of Secretary-certified investigations.
