DOS Announces Expiration of COVID-Era Visa Application Fee Receipts

DOS announced that Machine-Readable Visa fee receipts for payment issued before 10/1/22 will expire on 9/30/23. Applicants must schedule an appointment or submit an interview waiver application before 9/30/23 to avoid paying a new fee, but the interview does not need to take place before 9/30/23.
